It calculates the FOA optical power at reference points (FV, NV) and compares the expected design to the actual lens, displaying an error map. A decision is made based on the error map and pre-defined criteria by the lab, ensuring quality control. The A&R AutoMapper is task-specific and compact, allowing easy integration into the lab workflow, either post-surfacing or during final inspections, including checking cut lenses. This equipment is particularly beneficial for modern labs with rapid payback, offering 100% production control, non-contact measurement, correction of potential R L inversion, and inspection of various lens parameters including power, cylinder, and thickness.
