The AutoPacker is a specialized machine designed for use in mid to large volume prescription laboratories within the eyewear industry. This automated system is optimized for efficiently packaging lenses after job identification. It can handle up to 600 lenses per hour and comes equipped with the capability to pack cut lenses as well. The process involves unloading the lenses, centering them, selecting from eighteen different envelope types, inserting the lens into the chosen envelope, printing and applying a label on the envelope flap for sealing, and performing a final check to ensure the envelope is not empty before loading the packaged lens back into its original job tray. The AutoPacker offers a completely automatic cycle to prevent mispackaging and draws from years of experience in packaging prescription glasses. For optimal utilization, it is recommended to use this machine after the Automatic Control and Inking Unit in the production line.
