MZR-1004

Basic information

The MZR-1005 series hydraulic cylinders, manufactured by MBS, are specially designed for actuating and control purposes. These synchronized cylinders are commonly used in various industries that require precise and synchronized movement.

One notable feature of the MZR-1005 series is its spring return mechanism, allowing for efficient movement and control. The spring characteristic can be tailored according to specific customer requirements, providing flexibility in application.

To further enhance adaptability, both the hub and piston rod protrusion are variable, accommodating different connections and fittings. The cylinder connection is accomplished through a head flange attachment and a threaded attachment on the piston rod. Additionally, connecting pieces for pipe fittings to BSPP ISO 1179-2 and venting connections on both sides ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

Installation of position sensors and position monitoring is made easy, as the cylinders are already prepared for such applications. This allows for precise feedback and control of the cylinder's position during operation.

To combat corrosion, the entire cylinder, except for the piston rod and centering surfaces, is protected with a durable black primer. Customizable surface treatments are also available upon request.

The piston rod of the MZR-1005 series hydraulic cylinders is a standout feature, with a surface that is hard chromed, ground, and polished. This ensures smooth and reliable movement, even under heavy loads.

When it comes to compatibility with hydraulic fluids, the cylinders are suitable for use with types H, HL, and HLP, as specified in DIN 51525-1.
