These apples receive an extra waxed treatment and are not packed in bags. The Royal Gala variety in this category meets a minimum caliber requirement of 65mm. Apples in this category exhibit excellent quality and maintain the characteristic shape, caliber, and color of the variety. A slight defect in form, development, or staining, as well as minor epidermis imperfections, are permitted as long as they do not exceed specific limits. The pulp of these apples should not show any signs of deterioration.

2. Standard: In this category, apples may have slight defects in shape, development, and staining, as long as they still possess their minimum characteristics. However, serious defects in the pulp are not allowed.
