The Transmashholding Group (TMH) completed the purchase of a DCD Rolling Stock plant in South Africa, the Russian company said on Monday, October 29. The company will be engaged in the assembly, maintenance and modernization of railway rolling stock for various purposes for the South African market and other African countries. The representative of TMH did not disclose the amount of the transaction and other conditions.

TMH Africa, representing TMH in Africa, will manage production in South Africa. It is 70% owned by TMH International AG, the international division of TMH, and 30% by the MJISA investment fund.
