The Trump Organization plans to build residential houses, hotel cottages and other real estate in a port city in the north-east of Scotland
The Trump Organization, created by current US President Donald Trump, announced an investment of about $ 197 million to expand its project in the Scottish Aberdeen.
It is noted that the Trump company plans to build 500 residential houses, 50 hotel cottages, a sports center, retail premises and other entertainment facilities on an area of 1500 hectares.
These investments are already the second tranche of The Trump Organization in the project in Aberdeen. Previously, the company invested $ 131 million in it. The total investment in the project is approximately $ 982 million. The Aberdeenshire Region Council still has to approve the company's plan for the development of the territory.
As reported by the Bloomberg edition, the project The Trump Organization caused controversy among environmentalists, local residents and the Scottish government. Even Trump's recent visit to Scotland was accompanied by protests in Glasgow and Edinburgh
