Furthermore, the compound exhibits minimal linear shrinkage, guaranteeing precise and dimensionally accurate final products.With exceptional high temperature resistance, our ALWA MOULD D backfilling compounds can withstand the most challenging production environments. Moreover, the demoulding process is made efficient and convenient, as it can be carried out after approximately 90 minutes, once the last backfilling compound has been added. Chemically adhering to polyester or vinylester gelcoat, our material ensures a strong and reliable bond, minimizing the risk of delamination. The quick cooling properties of our compound allow for the preparation of the second mould half immediately after the first half has cooled down. To maintain a consistent temperature on the mould surface, the mould is equipped with copper pipes. Eliminating the need for post-curing, our ALWA MOULD D backfilling compounds provide a time-saving solution, increasing efficiency and productivity. Additionally, we offer two gelcoat options for the surface finish. The first one is ALWA MOULD COAT, a high-end vinylester gelcoat that can be polished to a high-gloss finish.
