The PPC – PPC VM (VM = metal tank) series is a top-tier solution specifically designed for tertiary filtration within the industrial sector. Offering exceptional solid removal yields, while consuming minimal water and energy, this series is ideal for plants with medium-large capacity requirements.
Featuring a gravity filtration design with limited head loss, the PPC – PPC VM series ensures continuous filtration without the need for standby units during backwash phases. Cloth washing is efficiently carried out with only two pumps, one of which serves as a backup, for all discs in the system. The backwash sequence is managed using double-acting valves with pneumatic control.
The largest standard model within this series boasts a generous filtering surface of 160 m2, capable of processing a load equivalent to a community of approximately 50,000 population equivalents (PE). Notable for its low energy consumption, this series becomes even more efficient as plant capacity increases.
The cloth filter in polstoff free fibre provides exceptional mechanical strength, ensuring long-lasting and reliable operation in tertiary filtration applications.
