Alcohol Ethoxylate Disperlat® SC 86 is a versatile non-ionic surfactant with a polar sulfonate group and non-polar hydrocarbon chain. This product boasts excellent wetting properties, low foaming, and works effectively as a degreasing agent. The surfactants in the Disperlat® SC 86 series are ethoxylated tridecyl alcohols, offering rapid wetting, low foaming, and good detergency. They serve as emulsifiers, dispersants, and solubilizers, making them ideal for applications in textile scouring and dyeing, industrial, institutional, and specialty settings. Additionally, the lower ethoxylate members of the series are utilized as chemical intermediates for anionic phosphate, sulfate, and carboxylate surfactants. Disperlat® SC 86 finds applications in detergent formulations and as a degreasing agent. With a colorless to pale yellow liquid appearance, this product is soluble in water, has a pH range of 5.5 to 7.5, a density of 0.99 g/ml at 25°C, and a maximum moisture content of 0.5%.
