Basic information

Maxant® RDS is a top-performing silicone antifoam emulsion specifically designed for the cosmetic chemicals industry. With its excellent foam control properties and high stability in various foaming systems, it effectively reduces foam formation, making it an ideal solution for industrial applications.

This antifoam agent is known for its stability under alkaline conditions, ensuring consistent performance even in challenging environments. To optimize its effectiveness, it is recommended to pre-dilute Maxant® RDS with cold water in a ratio between 1:1 to 1:10, avoiding the use of centrifugal pumps to prevent emulsion separation.

For best results, a starting concentration ranging from 0.1% to 2% is suggested, although this may vary based on the intensity of the foaming issue at hand. Maxant® RDS delivers durability, fast foam knock-down, and excellent foam control at temperatures up to 95°C, providing long-term foam inhibition and ease of dispersion in various foaming systems. Its resilience in alkaline conditions further enhances its utility in cosmetic chemical applications.
