Description

The EI 60 Fire Dampers are specifically designed for installation in false ceilings, providing self-contained fire protection. These dampers have been tested for fire resistance according to NF EN 1634-1: +A1: 2018 and EN 1634-1: +A1: 2018 standards.

The dampers are constructed with a durable frame made of aluminium profile bars, connected by Tox connections for added strength and security. They feature an all-round EPDM lip seal to effectively prevent the spread of fire. For added safety, the dampers also have hidden latches and are equipped with screwed GKF gypsum plasterboard.

The main purpose of these fire dampers is to prevent the progression of fire from the room into the false ceiling area. The integrated aluminium frame is designed with a fire stop to provide maximum protection. The cover of the inspection hatch is fitted with a DF fire protection plate to further enhance fire resistance. Additionally, the versatile all-round seal ensures that no smoke can enter the protected area. The cover is securely fastened on both sides with automatic safety hooking arms.
