Description
Aramid fibers are highly versatile and find extensive use in various industries, particularly in demanding applications. One such industry that greatly benefits from aramid fibers is firefighting. These fibers exhibit exceptional flame retardant properties, making them ideal for manufacturing firefighters' protective clothing. The inherent fireproof nature of aramid fibers, coupled with their remarkable tensile strength, also makes them a preferred material for creating bulletproof vests utilized by the military and police forces. Additionally, aramid nonwovens possess excellent thermal insulation capabilities. When utilized in heating systems, the laid heating wire generates significant heat output, which is effectively insulated by the aramid nonwoven. The high heat resistance of aramid further enhances its utility in such applications, as it can withstand the intense heat generated by the heating wire. Moreover, the nonwoven material itself is either non-combustible or flame retardant, ensuring its suitability for use across a wide temperature range of up to 200°C.
