Introducing the new Deichman Main Library, located in the heart of Oslo's bustling cultural district, adjacent to the iconic Norwegian Opera House. As industry leaders in energy efficiency and sustainability, we take great pride in our involvement in this remarkable project. The library, which opened its doors in 2020, boasts an impressive architectural design that prioritizes both functionality and environmental consciousness.

Part of the library's visually striking facade includes extralarge, solid window frontage profiles. These profiles, with a thickness of approximately 0.5 meters, were meticulously manufactured using state-of-the-art machinery by TechnoComposites Domine GmbH. The cutting-edge design incorporates multiple hollow chambers within the profiles, enhancing their visual impact on the six-storey building.

Not only does the library's design showcase its commitment to energy efficiency, but it also significantly reduces greenhouse gas emissions. As a result, the Deichman Main Library stands as a beacon of sustainability within the architectural industry and sets a new standard for eco-friendly structures.
