Up Rapid, founded in 2015 by River Yao, is a company that specializes in rapid prototyping services. Our main aim is to assist clients in overcoming production challenges by offering cost-effective solutions and fast production turn-around. We have a rich history in the manufacturing industry, with our original company, Hong Kong Xiehe Model Co., Ltd., being established in 2001. Initially, we focused on producing models for the automobile and aerospace industries. However, as the industrial landscape evolved and foreign technology was introduced, we decided to create Up Rapid, which became a younger, more innovative, and powerful entity, with rapid prototyping technologies at its core.

In 2015, we boasted an extensive production capacity, with 30 CNCs and 5 injection molding machines. Our workforce consisted of 100 skilled workers who were actively involved in the production process. The following year, in 2016, we successfully participated in 472 projects for 30 start-up companies. These projects spanned various sectors, including white goods, electromechanical, automotive, electronics, and military industries.

Recognizing the need for continuous improvement and technological advancement, by 2018 we focused on enhancing our equipment automation. We acquired three-axis and five-axis CNC machines, as well as high-tonnage injection molding machines. This allowed us to advance into the precision equipment and parts processing field. Additionally, we formed a partnership with CHOTEST, a company specializing in providing precision measurement solutions.

As we progressed into 2019, we established a dedicated foreign trade department to actively seek cooperation with international customers. Our expansion into foreign markets has been a priority, as we aim to offer our services to clients around the world.
