LIEPAJAS PAPIRS

Liepajas Papīrs is a company with a rich history in the paper and cardboard industry, dating back to its founding in 1896 by Victor Smit. Originally known as the Victor Smits Glossy Paper and Cardboard Factory of Liepāja, the company started by producing glossy paper and cardboard and later expanded into manufacturing photo plates.

In 1993, the company changed its status and became Joint Stock Company “Liepājas Papīrs”. Over the years, Liepajas Papīrs has progressively increased its production volumes and in 2005, made a strategic shift from producing various white goods to focusing on labels and stickers printing.
