GlobalLogic, APAX Partners and Partners Group signed an agreement to sell 48% of GlobalLogic shares owned by APAX Partners, the Swiss company Private Equity, which is part of the Partners Group investment fund. This is stated in the message GlobalLogic.
As a result of the transaction between the Partner Group and Apax Partners, GlobalLogic was valued at more than $ 2 billion.
After the transaction is closed, the Partners Group and the Canadian Pension Fund CPPIB will become equal investors in GlobalLogic.
The Investment Fund Partners Group is one of the world's largest investment companies with a market value of assets of $ 74 billion, and after the completion of the deal - a new strategic investor in GlobalLogic.
"At the end of 2017 GlobalLogic showed growth of 20%, and the income amounted to more than $ 500 million. The company is an innovator in the field of digital engineering services and today collaborates with more than 12 thousand specialists around the world, of which about 3500 are Ukrainian engineers. As one of the key development centers, GlobalLogic in Ukraine provides R & D services in various fields, such as the automotive industry, medicine, media, telecom and others, "the report says.
GlobalLogic Ukraine, one of the largest IT companies in Ukraine, is part of the global corporation GlobalLogic (USA). The Ukrainian division of the company has been operating since 2006 and has more than 3500 employees in Kiev, Lviv, Nikolaev and Kharkov.
The Canadian pension fund CPPIB became a shareholder of GlobalLogic in April 2017, when the investment fund Partners sold him a 48% stake in the company.
