Basic information

The OPTIBAR PC 5060 is a versatile pressure transmitter specifically designed for process pressure and hydrostatic level measurement across various industrial applications. This transmitter is ideal for both absolute and gauge pressure measurements in open tanks, and when configured as a dual version, it can also perform electronic differential pressure measurements in closed vessels.

Equipped with a ceramic capacitive measuring cell, the OPTIBAR PC 5060 ensures exceptional overload and vacuum resistance, contributing to enhanced plant reliability. The unique design allows the measuring cell to be installed flush with the process, while the radially recessed gasket placement offers additional protection in abrasive environments. Additionally, the device is capable of withstanding abrupt temperature changes and operating temperatures of up to +150°C (302°F).

The OPTIBAR PC 5060 is available in sturdy plastic and aluminum housing options, as well as hygienic stainless steel versions with an ingress protection rating of up to IP69k. This pressure transmitter offers a range of diagnostic features and digital communication capabilities for increased functionality.
