ULTEM HU1000® (PEI, polyetherimid) is a high-performance material that is widely used in the medical industry, particularly in traumatology and orthopaedic applications such as instruments and trial parts. It offers exceptional dimensional stability even after autoclaving, making it ideal for medical devices that require superior mechanical characteristics.

Compared to Acetal Coplymer, ULTEM HU1000® is preferred for designs that demand enhanced mechanical properties. Additionally, this material is radio transparent, allowing for clear visibility in medical imaging procedures.

To ensure quality and traceability, our medical grade stock shapes, including rods and sheets, are lot controlled and come with a certificate of conformance. It's important to note that ULTEM HU1000® is not suitable for permanent implantation.
