Basic information

TREE:
The TREE grows upright at a medium growth rate with medium vigor. It is an early flowering and late leafing variety, which provides protection against late spring frosts. It is an early bearer, starting to yield in the 3rd or 4th year after planting. This variety produces regular and very high yields. It can tolerate many soil types and prefers partial to full sun. Additionally, it is drought resistant, making it suitable for various environmental conditions.

POLLINATORS:
The TREE is self-fertile, meaning it does not require another tree for pollination. However, it also serves as a good pollinator for other nut varieties. Specifically, Fernette and Franquette are suitable pollinators for this variety. For optimal pollination, it is recommended to plant 1 Fernette tree for every 10th Fernor tree.

FRUIT APPEARANCE:
The TREE produces globular nuts with a light-colored, thin to medium-thick shell and a beaded seam. The kernel inside the nut is light in color and easily extracted from the shell.

FRUIT SIZE:
The nuts produced by the TREE range from medium to large in size.

HARVEST:
The nuts are ready for harvest at the end of September to early October.
