Basic information
The CHEM series chemical pumps are specially designed to be used as submersible pumps for emptying drums and containers. These pumps are capable of pumping various chemicals, such as liquid sulphur, at temperatures of up to 150 °C. They are particularly effective in transferring low-viscosity media at high pressures.
With a maximum viscosity of 1,000,000 mPas and the ability to withstand temperatures up to 500 °C (in special versions), these pumps are highly versatile. They can handle differential pressures of up to 120 bar and suction pressures ranging from vacuum to 15 bar.
Submersible suspension pumps are specifically designed to be submerged in the container with the medium. The medium is then drawn in through the flangeless suction side, and it enters the process from the tank via a discharge pipe. These pumps are often constructed using special or stainless steels and have the advantage of not requiring additional seals on the pump itself. The only area that needs to be sealed is the tank, ensuring a secure and efficient pumping operation.
The CHEM series chemical pumps are ideal for industrial applications, particularly in the chemical industry. They are designed to operate with electric motors and are self-priming. With their gear technology, these pumps offer reliable performance and are manufactured by WITTE PUMPS & TECHNOLOGY GMBH, a reputable producer in the industry.
