The family settled in the area and in 1981, the founder's grandfather was inspired by the Japanese tradition of wearing slippers indoors to keep outside dirt out. He began crafting high-quality slippers using a single piece of premium leather for his family and friends.

The founder still vividly remembers the first time he received a pair of CP Slippers from his grandfather, the feeling of his little foot sliding into the slippers and the luxurious sensation of the smooth leather against his skin. This experience left a lasting impression on him.
