Description
The 92 Ex series sensors are versatile devices that are widely used in various industries. Specifically, they are commonly employed as diffuse reflection light scanners, through beam photoelectric sensors, and retro-reflective sensors. These sensors are highly capable, efficiently detecting objects within a distance range of 300 mm to 12 m.
One of the key features of the 92 Ex series sensors is their intrinsic safety. This means that they are designed to prevent the ignition of potentially explosive gases or dust particles in hazardous environments. To ensure safety, these sensors can transmit switching signals to the VS 403 isolated switching amplifier by utilizing the NAMUR interface.
The 92 Ex series sensors have been classified with a T6 temperature class. This means they are suitable for use in areas with explosive gases. Additionally, they have a maximum operating temperature of 80°C, making them ideal for areas with explosive dust.
