Description

The Vetronites, commonly used in the electromechanical sector, are composed of a combination of epoxy, polyester, melamine, and silicone resins. Depending on the specific model chosen, these resins possess varying thermal class properties. These materials exhibit exceptional mechanical and dielectric characteristics, making them highly suitable for applications across multiple sectors. Notably, the FR4, GPO3, and FR5 glass elements meet the UL 94 V0 standard for self-extinguishing properties. Furthermore, the GPO3 and FR5 variants are halogen-free and non-marking.

The GPO3 material constitutes a layered insulation consisting of glass mat and filled polyester resin. It is particularly useful for manufacturing machined and sheared components. With its robust mechanical properties and good dielectric characteristics, GPO3 is well-suited for use in pieces up to 6mm in thickness.

On the other hand, the FR4, G11, and FR5 laminates consist of a glass fabric and epoxy resin base arranged in layers. These materials exhibit different thermal class ratings.

Additionally, the LG11 material is available in two versions, each with different insulation classes. The first version, denoted as LG11, is classified as insulation class F (155 °C). The second version, known as LG11H, falls under insulation class H (180 °C).
