As these capsules fall from their trees in the Amazon region, precautions such as wearing helmets are crucial for harvest workers to avoid potential injuries. Renowned for its powerful taste and nutritional value, the Brazil Nut is a remarkable nut in various aspects.

Originating from South America, specifically Brazil, Bolivia, and Peru, the Brazil Nut tree thrives naturally throughout the extensive Amazon region. These trees, towering up to three meters in width and reaching heights of up to sixty meters, encompass the rainforest canopy. Despite several failed attempts to cultivate the para nut tree outside of its natural habitat, the ongoing exploitation of the rainforest has led to the Brazil Nut becoming an endangered species of nuts.
