Description
The COMPENSER® KL-series is an industrial shock absorber specifically designed for use in light mechanical engineering applications. It is an ideal choice for various equipment such as handling equipment, small storage and retrieval machines, and small crane systems. This shock absorber is well-suited for operational push-in cycles at creep speed, thanks to its low reset force of the compression spring.
In terms of design and function, the COMPENSER® KL-series operates by having the piston rod 2 push the piston 6 into the pressure chamber 7. Simultaneously, the damping medium flows through metering grooves located in the outer tube 8, passing through the piston 6 and into the volume balance chamber 5. The return spring 3 is then tensioned, and after impact occurs, it pushes the piston rod 2 back to its initial position. This enables the damping medium to flow back into the pressure chamber 7 for further use.
