Description
Located in Le Puy-Sainte-Réparade, the Clôs du Blanc estate sits at an altitude of 2690 feet, providing a unique and advantageous position for our vineyard. With diverse terrain including plains, valleys, and hills, our vines have the opportunity to fully showcase the potential of our exceptional soil.
Our vineyard boasts a wide array of Provencal vine types, including Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon, white Ugni, and Vermentino. One particularly notable feature of our estate is an ancient and exceptional lot of Syrah vines dating back to 1947. These vines are not only significant within our vineyard but also hold historical importance in the Provence region, as very few vineyards planted this type of grape before 1950. The mysterious origin of this lot sparks speculation of a brilliant idea or a passionate experiment, leaving the answer to be discovered.
Additionally, we have two lots of Grenache and Syrah planted on the hillside, elevation exceeding 985 feet. From these locations, we are rewarded with breathtaking views of the Luberon hills, the medieval castle of Le Puy Sainte Réparade, and the majestic Sainte Victoire mountain.
Our estate's strategic location, diverse vine types, and historical significance make us a standout choice in the wine industry. Discover the exceptional character and enchanting views that our wines have to offer.
