The IFE family of sensors, designed specifically for the industrial sector, are capable of detecting large metallic objects with a length of up to 900 mm. These sensors offer an impressive switching distance of up to 180 mm. Their robust construction ensures durability and longevity, making them ideal for outdoor usage as they are water-tight, adhering to the stringent IP 68 standards.

These proximity switches operate on the trusted inductive principle, allowing them to seamlessly switch contactlessly when a metallic object approaches. By using sensors from the IFE family, there's no longer a need for multiple inductive sensors connected in series. The large sensor surface of these sensors ensures the reliable detection of large moving metal parts.
