Portex is a company with over 60 years of experience in manufacturing tank and cistern pressure lids. We are based in France but have a global distribution network, supplying our high-quality pressure lids to various industries worldwide. Our expertise lies exclusively in the production of pressure lids, which initially served as gasifier lids but have since evolved to become the industry benchmark for a wide range of industrial applications.

At Portex, we specialize in the design and manufacture of round, rectangular, and oval external pressure lids and closures. Our products range in diameter from 100 to 1200 mm and are made of both steel and stainless steel. They can be customized to meet specific requirements, whether pressure or non-pressure related. Additionally, we offer high-pressure autoclaves capable of withstanding pressures of up to 25 bar, as well as other accessories such as inspection hatches, welding hatches, drip-trays, safety grilles, sight glasses, manholes, and vat accessories.
