EMPAC GmbH is a leading manufacturer of flexible intermediate bulk containers (FIBC) and film liners for large packages. With a rich history dating back to 1980, EMPAC Verpackungs GmbH was founded and later acquired by the NORDENIA Group in 1993. In 1996, the company established the STARPAC production company in Starogard, Poland.

In 2012, EMPAC made a significant move by exiting the NORDENIA Group through a management buyout, continuing business operations under the name EMPAC GmbH. As part of this transition, EMPAC established subsidiaries in Poland (EMPAC Polska) and France (EMPAC France), further expanding its global presence.

During the years 2012 to 2015, EMPAC France acted as a key sales company for the company, while in the United States, EMPAC formed a strategic partnership with a local sales partner.

In 2017, EMPAC experienced a significant milestone as it returned to the possession of its owner five years prior. This emphasizes the company's commitment to manufacturing high-quality FIBC and film liners, further solidifying its position as an industry leader.
