FloorGuard Matting Manufacturing, a subsidiary of RISMAT® Group, was established in Shanghai in 2011. This fully automatic, modern factory operates with a lean workforce of approximately 40 employees and has an impressive annual production capacity of over $30 million USD. Spanning 69,000 sq. ft., the facility includes various departments such as tufting, prepping, manufacturing, packaging, and warehousing, along with office and quality control spaces.At FloorGuard Matting Manufacturing, we specialize in producing a variety of mats made from materials such as cotton, nylon, polypropylene, polyester, and rubber. Our primary aim is to address the issue of dirt and dust brought into buildings through foot traffic, which can cause significant damage to floors. Studies have shown that up to 80% of all dirt in commercial and residential buildings is carried in by pedestrians, resulting in scrapping and surface damage to hard flooring. Additionally, the foot traffic of 1,500 people can remove 42% of a floor's finish, while 95% of all carpet appearance problems are caused by soil and traffic patterns.To combat these issues, RISMAT® has developed the Floor Pollution Control Matting System, which is designed to prevent dirt and dust from entering the premises via uncontrolled foot traffic.
