Cartridge heaters, also known as heating cartridges or insertion heaters, are widely used in various industries. These heaters typically consist of a cylindrical stainless steel tube that offers excellent corrosion prevention. Inside the tube, a heating wire is wound around a ceramic core, with the number of coils varying depending on the power requirements. To prevent short-circuits, the cartridge heater is filled with compressed magnesium oxide. These heaters are highly compacted and can reach a surface watt density of up to 50 W cm², making them capable of withstanding high levels of stress.

One of the primary applications of cartridge heaters is in the plastics industry, where they are used in hot runners to regulate and maintain the temperature of thermoplasts during injection molding processes. They are also extensively used in other industrial processes such as packaging, die casting, and continuous casting, where materials like zinc or aluminum are processed. Furthermore, cartridge heaters find applications in mechanical, medical, and laboratory engineering.

Our cartridge heaters come in a range of dimensions, with the minimum diameter starting from 3.0 mm and the maximum diameter going up to 31.8 mm (1 1 4). We also provide square dimensions such as 3x3, 4.5x4.5, 6x6, 8x8, and 10x10 mm. The maximum working temperature on the sheath of our heaters is 750°C. Additionally, our cartridge heaters are compatible with various thermo sensors including TC J, TC K, PT 100, and PT 1000.
