RHEIN-PLAST, founded in 1959 by Karl Eisemann, is a company that specializes in the production of high-quality bags and sacks made from polyethylene (PE) films. The company was established after Karl Eisemann witnessed the exciting developments in the field of PE plastic at the nearby BASF site. He installed machinery for manufacturing film bags at his forge and started RHEIN-PLAST.

Initially led by Karl Eisemann, the company was later taken over by his sons Hermann, Hans-Georg, and Norbert Eisemann. They jointly acquired the company shares and became the leaders of RHEIN-PLAST. In 1969, the business moved to a new location near Bad Dürkheim in south-western Germany due to the site's limited space.

Today, RHEIN-PLAST continues to operate from its headquarters, which has remained in the hands of the Eisemann family throughout its history. The company utilizes in-house cast film extrusion, printing, and manufacturing facilities to produce custom-made bags and sacks to meet the diverse requirements of customers worldwide.
