Pumpidup is an innovative company based in Ukraine that originated from the successful cinema chain, Planeta Kino. Established in 2008, Planeta Kino started as a single IMAX screen in Kyiv and rapidly expanded to become a chain of 10 movie theaters with a total of 74 screens, including cutting-edge technologies like IMAX and 4DX. As the second-largest cinema chain in Ukraine, Planeta Kino introduced unique concepts such as RELUX, which combined cinemas with restaurants, and Kinomarkets, mini-markets within the theaters selling snacks, drinks, and renowned high-quality popcorn.

In 2018, inspired by their popular popcorn, Planeta Kino launched Pumpidup, a brand dedicated to creating the most exciting and flavorful popcorn varieties. To achieve the perfect taste, the company experimented with different corn types, eventually discovering a special corn variety that, when combined with both traditional and unconventional flavors, resulted in the creation of Pumpidup's signature healthy popcorn.
