EmBraVerde is a company that was founded in 2011 in the state of Goias, Brazil. We specialize in the cultivation of giant Bamboo plants, which serve as the raw material for high-quality briquettes and pellets made of Bamboo charcoal. Our company operates its own plantation and nursery for the production of Bamboo seedlings, with a focus on the preferred species of Dendrocalamus (D.C) ASPER and D.C. STRICTUS. These Bamboo culms can grow up to 30 meters high, with diameters ranging from 12 to 20 centimeters.

At EmBraVerde, we harvest over 40 tons of bamboo biomass per hectare per year, and the plants continue to grow even during the harvesting process. With lifetimes of up to 80 years, this makes Bamboo a highly sustainable business option for biomass.

The production of top-quality briquettes and pellets takes place directly at our plantation, including the crucial process of pyrolyzing to create charcoal. Our briquettes are packaged in bags (boxes) of various sizes, such as 5, 10, 15 kg, and more, while the pellets are delivered in sacks weighing 15, 20, and 25 kg, as well as in bulk quantities. We even offer customized printing on the bags based on customers' preferences. Our shipment is handled through ISO-containers, which are filled with bags containing the briquettes.

What sets EmBraVerde apart is our commitment to sustainability. Bamboo charcoal is 100% carbon dioxide (CO2) neutral, and any CO2 emissions resulting from transportation can be fully offset by planting additional Bamboo seedlings, which are produced in our own nursery.

In addition to our production site in Brazil, EmBraVerde's international administration and management are based in Switzerland.
