The PICO-DRY adsorption dryers are specially designed to remove water vapour from compressed air, resulting in a lower dew point. These dryers are particularly suitable for piston compressors with a small duty load, which frequently start and stop.

The adsorption process occurs under pressure in the lower column. When the compressor shuts down, the adsorption column is depressurized, and the dry air from the buffer vessel slowly expands to regenerate the dryer. Additionally, the dryer features an aftercooler and a filter, which prevent liquid water, oil, and other large contaminants from entering the adsorption vessel.

With the inclusion of springs in the columns, the desiccant beads remain in place during operation. This proven robust design ensures efficient and reliable operation, quick installation, and straightforward maintenance.
