Founded in 1986 by the five Baklan brothers, our family business from the Rhine-Neckar region started as a retail company. Over the years, we have grown into an international company that operates globally. With twelve companies under the Baktat Group, we currently employ around 1500 individuals. Our product range has expanded to include 3000 items, which are distributed in approximately 52 countries worldwide.

At the core of our operations is a customer-centric approach, where we strive to understand and cater to diverse cultures. It all began with a small supermarket in Mannheim, Germany, which now serves as the headquarters for our company group. From the very beginning, we have placed great emphasis on providing ethically sourced food that satisfies people's palates and preferences.
