Product Description: The QuellTech solution addresses the specific challenges faced in assessing rotating parts in various industries. When evaluating such parts, a range of parameters must be taken into account, including concentricity, radial run-out, axial run-out (wobble), thickness, diameter, planarity, and the absence of surface defects. QuellTech has developed a unique configuration comprising three Q6 Laser Scanners to provide a comprehensive solution for these assessments.Each lateral surface of the rotating part is assigned to its own scanner within the configuration. To accurately determine the thickness, the laser lines of these scanners are oriented in opposite directions. Additionally, the third scanner inspects the outer circumference of the wheel, allowing for the measurement of the diameter and radial run-out. All of the scanners receive encoder signals from the rotary axis, ensuring synchronous triggering and enabling precise localization of any defects on the wheel.The measurement process occurs at an impressive resolution of approximately 30 µm, resulting in a cloud of data comprising several million points. This level of detail allows for thorough analysis and evaluation of the rotating parts. With QuellTech's innovative solution, the assessment process becomes more efficient and reliable, empowering industries to ensure the quality and reliability of their rotating parts.
