The Electroalfa primary distribution switchgear is specifically designed for use in the power generation, transport, and distribution industry. It is suitable for rated voltages of 7.2 kV and 24 kV, and can handle rated currents up to 4000 A.

These switchgear units comply with the technical standards set by major nationwide power companies such as Transelectrica, CEZ Group, E.ON Group, and Electrica Group.

In terms of specific models, the Electroalfa S 12xx range is designed for a maximum voltage of 12 kV, with continuous rated current of up to 5000 A and rated peak withstand current of 50 KA/1s. This range of switchgear is capable of withstanding internal electric arcs, with a classification index of up to IAC AFLR 50KA, 1s.

For higher voltage requirements, the S 24xx range of switchgear is suitable for 24 kV, with continuous rated current of up to 2500 A and rated peak withstand current of 25 KA/1s. These switchgear units have also passed rigorous testing to ensure their reliability and durability in demanding industry settings.
