The Aerolift pipe lifting solutions are versatile and can be used in various industries. They are particularly useful in the production, storage, transhipment, and internal transport of pipes. In this specific case, we have developed a specialized lifting solution for handling both bare and coated pipes on board a ship. The ship, named The Amazon, has been converted into an ultra-deepwater J-Lay vessel.

To facilitate the handling of pipes, we have installed vacuum lifting devices on four cargo hold cranes. These devices allow for efficient loading and unloading of 24-meter-long pipes in the ship's cargo area. The design of our lifting devices takes into consideration the unique challenges posed by double joint pipes, minimizing their deflection during lifting. Additionally, our devices are capable of securely handling the entire pipe using vacuum technology alone.

With our Aerolift pipe lifting solutions, the ship's operations can be carried out smoothly and effectively, ensuring the safe transportation and handling of pipes in the demanding offshore industry.
