Metawell is a unique product in the industry, with processing that is more comparable to wood than metal. To ensure the proper handling of Metawell, wood working machines equipped with protection against metal cuttings are used. This similarity in processing is primarily seen in factors such as the large surface area, clamping techniques, feed speed, and the absence of the need for coolants and lubricants.

When it comes to achieving narrow tolerances for foldings at the edges, it is crucial to process the panels on CNC-work stations exclusively. Once the panels are milled, the folding can be done either manually or with the aid of simple edging tools. This allows for the transportation of flat (milled) panels that take up less space, which can then be folded on-site during the assembly process. It is important to note that only panels with a cover sheet thickness of at least 0.8 mm can be milled and folded, ensuring optimal results. The maximum folding angle achievable with single milling is 135°.

For processing large-size panels, a slide table panel saw is used. This enhances accuracy and efficiency in obtaining desired results.
