The new manufacturing process of Perfect-Glide tennis granules has revolutionized the industry by addressing the shortcomings of previous sliding surfaces. In the past, the use of quartz sand resulted in quick deterioration of the base coverings due to its hardness. Meanwhile, rubber granules, despite being soft, were unevenly shaped and wore out rapidly. Both options also generated dust, leading to breathing difficulties, clothing discoloration, and increased cleaning efforts in tennis halls and social areas.

However, the introduction of the extrusion method in producing Perfect-Glide granules has brought significant advancements. Unlike traditional granules, which are ground from a rubber block, these granules are spun into threads using an extruder and then cut to a specific length in a cooling bath. This innovative process ensures the creation of fine, dust-free micro-granules with a unique lens shape, offering superior performance and durability on tennis courts.
