The RUF briquetting systems of the Biomass series are specifically designed to process various materials such as dust, shavings, and wooden chips into briquettes with consistent high quality and density. These systems are widely used in the biomass industry.

Unlike traditional methods, these briquettes can be formed without the use of binders, making them environmentally friendly. However, it is crucial that the moisture content of the chips is below 15% (preferably under 12%) and that the chip size does not exceed 50mm. The finer the material, the smoother and more solid the resulting briquette's surfaces and edges will be.

To cater to different customer requirements, the systems can be equipped with a variety of options, ensuring maximum flexibility. Additionally, RUF briquetting systems are known for their exceptional energy efficiency, thanks to the innovative RUF hydraulic system.

The machines in this series come with motors ranging from 4 kW to 90 kW, depending on the model. With such a wide range, customers can choose the appropriate motor power for their specific production needs. The throughput capacities of the RUF Biomass presses can range from 50 to 1,300 kg per hour, providing ample capacity for businesses of various sizes.
