Founded by Vyara Donova and Kalin Dimitrov in the picturesque Trojan Balkans in 2011, Oreshak Escargots Snail Farm has carved a niche for itself in the snail farming industry. Similarly, PP Helix, spearheaded by Paulina Manuilova and Plamen Penchev near Sevlievo in 2012, has also made a mark in the industry.

Both farms have organically evolved and established their own reproductive halls and a centralized storage base in 2013. Specializing in breeding, rearing, and storing Helix Aspersa Maxima snails, these farms have joined forces to create Perlescargots Ltd. This prominent company houses a processing plant and focuses on creating delicious snail delicacies. The snails undergo careful breeding under the meticulous supervision of the owners and veterinary services of the Republic of Bulgaria.
