Introducing the new Deichman Main Library, a cutting-edge architectural marvel located in the heart of Oslo, right next to the Norwegian Opera House. The library, which opened its doors in 2020, not only offers a vast collection of knowledge but also sets a remarkable example of environmental sustainability.Designed to be an epitome of energy efficiency, the library boasts an incredibly low carbon footprint. We are immensely proud to be a part of this revolutionary project, having played a pivotal role in its success. One of our major contributions lies in the creation and installation of the extralarge, solid window frontage profiles that adorn the sixstorey building.Using state-of-the-art machinery at TechnoComposites Domine GmbH, we manufactured these façade element profiles to be approximately 0.5 meters thick. What sets them apart is the incorporation of multiple hollow chambers, which not only enhance their visual appeal but also serve as insulation, further enhancing the sustainability of the building. These profiles stand out prominently, capturing the attention of passersby and adding a touch of modern elegance to the library's aesthetics.The new Deichman Main Library is a testament to the harmonious fusion of innovative design and eco-consciousness.
