Foil and sheets from PE are versatile products that are widely used in various industries. These products are manufactured as both-sided smooth boards and foils, primarily made from LD-PE (low-density polyethylene) and HD-PE (high-density polyethylene). They are available in natural (milky), black, and colorful options.

LDPE is a commonly used material for producing foils, especially for packaging purposes. It is the go-to material for simple disposable bags, garbage bags, and shopping bags due to its affordability and ease of processing. Foils can be manufactured through extrusion, either as 2D foils or hoses (tubular extrusion). The thickness of the foils can vary based on application requirements, ranging from very thin foils for packaging baked goods to thick-walled foils for larger bags. The package thickness can be adjusted from 30 micrometers (0.030 mm) up to 200 micrometers.
