Introducing TREE: a hardy and versatile plant that thrives in a variety of soil types. This medium-sized tree grows upright at a moderate pace, displaying a balanced vigor throughout its life. What sets TREE apart is its early flowering and late leafing characteristics, which provide protection against late spring frosts. In just 3 to 4 years after planting, this early bearer begins yielding regular and abundant harvests.

TREE is adaptable to different environmental conditions, tolerating partial to full sun exposure. Its drought-resistant nature ensures its survival even during dry spells. Furthermore, TREE is self-fertile, making it an excellent pollinator for other nut varieties. For optimal pollination, we recommend planting 1 Fernette tree for every 10th Fernor tree. Alternatively, Fernette and Franquette trees are suitable pollinators as well.

When it comes to fruit quality, TREE impresses with globular nuts. These nuts have a thin to medium-thick shell, which is light in color and displays a distinctive beaded seam. Extracting the light-colored kernel from the shell is a breeze, thanks to its easy-to-crack nature. With medium to large-sized fruits, TREE offers an excellent balance between quantity and quality.

Harvesting season starts towards the end of September and extends into early October, providing a delightful opportunity to enjoy the abundance of delicious nuts produced by TREE.
