Product Description:

This exceptional red wine is made from 100% Garnacha grapes, sourced from vines that were planted in 1917. These vines, which are now 103 years old, have grown to a height of 160cm. The roots are Rupestris du lot, ensuring a strong and healthy foundation for the vines. The altitude at which the grapes are grown is 542 meters, adding a unique character to the wine.

With an alcohol content of 15º, this wine is full-bodied and rich. The vineyard has a surface area of 0.215 Ha, and the vines are trained in a bush vine style. The planting frame is 1.60 x 1.60 meters, providing ample space for the vines to thrive.

Each bottle is dated 19th September 2019, ensuring freshness and quality. The production is limited to 732 bottles, with a yield of 800 kg from the vineyard, which has a total yield of 3,700 kg Ha. This is below the authorized yield for Garnacha, which is 6,500 kg Ha, highlighting the dedication to producing only the finest quality grapes.

During the harvest, the grapes are carefully hand-picked and placed in 12 kg cases to protect their integrity. The winemaking process includes destemming the grapes and allowing both alcoholic and malolactic fermentations to take place in stainless steel vats. The wine is then aged in used French oak barrels for just 9 months, preserving its delicate notes and exceptional character.

In terms of tasting notes, this wine is bursting with intense and vibrant red fruit flavors, including raspberries and red currants. The bright, zesty acidity adds a refreshing touch. On the nose, there is a spectacular floral aroma that elevates the overall experience.
