Introducing our new product, RST B ECO, a thermoformable base web designed specifically for the food packaging industry. This recyclable material is made from polypropylene and is capable of withstanding heat treatments like retort processing. Its main purpose is for vacuum packing, making it an ideal choice for businesses looking to adhere to the EU guidelines on the circular economy.

RST B ECO is part of our ECO range, which consists of recyclable and monomaterial packaging solutions offered by SP Group. When combined with our PP HB ECOTOP flexible top film, this material creates a fully recyclable solution for vacuum packing. Over 90% of the packaging is made from polypropylene, ensuring easy recycling. The remaining materials used do not hinder the recycling process.

The RST B ECO base web boasts high-barrier properties, making it suitable for retort processing. It exhibits exceptional puncture and tear resistance, ensuring the integrity of the packaging during transportation and storage.

The applications for this material are vast, particularly in the food industry where sterilization and vacuum packing are essential.
