Introducing the E2 micro E-Chains®, a range of highly compact and lightweight one-piece and two-piece E-Chains® designed for optimal performance in dynamic applications. These E-Chains® are stable and come in various versions to suit different requirements. Additionally, igus® offers a wide range of accessories and mounting options to complement the E2 micro E-Chains®.

For added convenience, snap-open upgrades are available for many models, allowing for easy interchangeability and use as spare parts.

The E2 micro E-Chains® are available in different series, each with specific inner heights, widths, bending radii, and pitches. The E-Chains® in Series 03, 04, 045, 05, 06, and 08 are designed to be not-to-be-opened, providing secure and reliable cable management. Series B07, B09, 074, 094, E2.10, E2i.10, E2C.10, E2.15, E2i.15, and E2C.15 feature snap-open capabilities, allowing for convenient access along the outer or inner radius of the E-Chains®.

The E2 micro E-Chains® have been awarded the iF Design Award for the Series 05. These E-Chains® have undergone rigorous testing, including clean room testing (available upon request) and UL94-V0 classification for fire resistance (additional information available upon request).

In terms of noise reduction, the E2 micro E-Chains® in Series 06 have been tested at the igus® laboratory and achieved a sound level of 42 dB(A) when unsupported at a velocity of 1.0 m/s.

The E2 micro E-Chains® are suitable for various industrial applications, including general construction machinery, automatic doors, vehicles, measuring machines, electronics, handling systems, and pick and place robots.

For specific industry requirements, igus® offers special designs such as electrically conductive ESD/Atex versions (available upon request).
