Intense Pulsed Light Systems, commonly used in the cosmetic industry, offer a range of treatments including hair removal, vascular treatment, and acne treatment. These systems employ filters to eliminate UV wavelengths, allowing light transmission in the 400-1200nm range. Moreover, Homogenizing Rods are utilized in these systems to ensure even distribution of light.

In the operation of these systems, the light source enters a light pipe at various incident angles. This light pipe harnesses total internal reflection, using the refractive index of the material to determine the critical angle. The critical angle sets the angle of acceptance for total internal reflection to occur.

To ensure the quality of our Homogenizing Rods, we subject them to thorough inspection in our state-of-the-art Metrology laboratory. This laboratory is ISO 9001 certified, and we employ advanced tools such as the Trioptics PrismMaster and Starrett AV300 Video Imaging System for precise measurements and assessments.
